COOK COUNTY TAX PETITION We, the undersigned registered voters of Cook County, Illinois hereby protest the lack of fiscal responsibility on the part of the County Board President and Commissioners. We are a bi-partisan group of concerned Cook County residents. It is clear to us that the Cook County government has failed in its’ fiduciary duties. THEREFORE > We demand that our elected officials roll-back the onerous sales tax that hurts businesses.> We demand that our elected officials stop the patronage practices that bloat Cook County payrolls.> We demand that our elected officials cut our unsustainable tax burden.
